What is your area of expertise?
My expertise lies in (commercial) real estate law, with a particular focus on property development.
Why does this role suit you?
I find it very rewarding to guide clients through the entire development process, from the first plans right through to final delivery. I enjoy thinking along about the legal structure behind a project and in doing so contributing to developments that actually become visible in the built environment. It's precisely that combination - tailored legal work, close collaboration with clients and tangible results - that makes this field so interesting to me.
What can clients expect from you?
I think it's important to sit down with the client first and get a clear picture of their wishes, their objectives, and any points that need attention. From that basis, I actively think along about the best legal structure and a practical approach that fits the project. With property development in particular, I like staying involved throughout the whole process and working towards a successful project together with the client.
What's your educational background?
I completed a bachelor's degree in Law and a master's in Notarial Law at Utrecht University. I have also completed the professional training programme for civil-law notaries.
